Humanitarian Wharton to RosinskyMr. Robert W. Rosinsky is the President/CEO of Goodwill Manasota. Goodwill Manasota is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission statement and purpose is to change lives through the power of work. With the sale of donated goods and through philanthropic donations, Goodwill Manasota is able to assist people with disabilities and other barriers to employment by providing job skills training and employment opportunities.

Under his guidance and leadership Goodwill Manasota has been a model of sustainability and collaboration with other organizations and human services agencies within Manatee and Sarasota Counties and the Lakewood Ranch Community. In 2013, Goodwill Manasota served more than 16,000 people, placed 537 people in jobs, and assisted 329 veterans as they entered back into the civilian workforce.

A few of the recognitions that Goodwill Manasota has garnered as a result of its work and efforts in the community are the Sarasota Economic Development Corporation’s John J. Cox Community Partner of the Year, Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce’s Best Non-Profit of the Year, and Non-Profit of the Year Award by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
