Thank you for considering being a part of the Community Partners program and supporting the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund. Your partnership will help the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund (The Fund) continue to give grants to local nonprofits who are making an impact in Lakewood Ranch and the surrounding areas in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Your participation helps the community foster philanthropy in Lakewood Ranch.   

The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund plays a vital role in championing a community that benefits all through its support of life-changing nonprofit organizations and causes across the area. The Fund was established in 2000 by Schroeder-Manatee Ranch (the original developer of Lakewood Ranch) and was under the umbrella of the Manatee Community Foundation. In 2021, The Fund received its own 501(c)(3), gaining autonomy over the contributions it receives and the grants it provides.   

Over the years of its existence, The Fund has given more than $1.4 million to various non-profits and charitable interests. Now that it stands on its own, The Fund strives to be the heart of Lakewood Ranch’s giving culture. 

There are many different ways to give back to your community and by partnering alongside the Fund, we will have a greater impact in our community.  We are pleased to provide opportunities through our Fund that fits every budget.  Whether you become a Community Champion, sponsor one of our events, or just become a monthly donor, there is an opportunity for you to be a part of this growing and thriving philanthropic community.
